Wit Oriental Mart is perhaps the popular go-to place for a lot of students and office workers at North Sydney simply because of its famous $1 drinks. It ranges from soft drinks (Coke and other carbonated soda variety, as well as Asian-origin drinks such as chrysanthemum, Calpis water, amongst other things). They also sell bigger-sized sweet drinks at $1.50 and other drinks at $2 each.
But that is not the only thing this shop has. Although only occupying a very small space with minimal thought to its look and feel, this shop manages to pack a lot of other Asian foods, ranging from ready-to-cook food, cooking oils, condiments (mostly Korean origin, but also has other items from various Asian countries as well), instant noodles, up to biscuits and chocolate snacks which are sometimes also $1 each.
There is only one staff that is always behind the counter, but she is always friendly and always says thank you.
