Witchs Cauldron
Located on Rokeby Road in the heart of Subiaco, Witchs Cauldron supports its name via its magical blend of fresh, West Australian ingredients with the flair of the renowned headchefs. Australian, Asian and European influences are balanced beautifully in their recipes. There's nothing ghoulish, however, about the friendly, a la carte service nor the elegant and welcoming decor.

Thanx for ruining my 50th~ Booked ahead by three weeks on arrival ~found the requested table full. Staff actually said to the other waitstaff we didn't deserve a decent table cloth!! And it went down hill from there. Brought the wrong wine out. sent three pieces of dirty cutlery back. waited for over 20 minutes for entree one guest had to wait 40 Min's. Had to try a catch a waitstaff to arrange order for deserts - one guest got the wrong desert! They knew at the time of the booking it was for my important birthday! No cake, No Service and NOT EVER GOING BACK! And will never recommend them to any of my clients or interstate visitors!
My wife and I had heard so much about the Witch's Cauldron and were so excited to eventually get a night out away from the kids. It is such an experience starting from the front near the street walking through several seperate eating areas with different pictures of witches placed throughout to finally get to a raised seating area at the back quietly tucked away with the smell of the fresh meals wafting through the restaurant. There is plenty to choose from on the menu and the service is fantastic but by no means is a place to eat if you are pinching pennies. I recommend you go out and give your taste buds a tickle and I guarantee you won't leave hungry.
Had a really great experience there. A very nice meal (lunch special with eight family members). the lunch specials are a great range of two and three course meals, at set prices (normal meals are available too but the lunch specials are very good value).
What made me really like this place was the service. while there, a family member lost a very special piece of jewellery. didn't realise til at home. i rang the restaurant, really expecting very little. The likelihood of finding it was practically nothing, it was tiny and the restaurant is not. The staff member dropped everything, pledging to look everywhere. and she did. found it in the bathroom under the sink. amazing.
she contacted us immediately, and we picked up the item ten minutes later.
we were so blown away by this experience we have decided to have all our get togethers there.
Don't expect to see a witch or a wizard when you go to the Witchs Cauldron and you won't find a big pot of Harry Potter type spells being brewed in the kitchen. But there is a real charm about this place. I've been a fairly regular customer for 40 years. High prices and low security keep me away from some places in Perth but Bill, Tony, Geoff and Tanis make this a home away from home.
I don't know how they do it - they're always open, always friendly and the same high quality dishes never change. I don't care how they do it, I just hope I'm there for the next 40 years to enjoy having a great meal, not too expensive to share with my friends.
Have visited this restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Both times I received excellent service and delicious food. The prices are quiet expensive but you do get what you pay for. Highly recommend the chicken schnitzel it was superb. This restaurant is a bit dark and gloomy, but I guess it fits in with the whole â??Witches Caldronâ?? theme.
