We were contacted by a representative for a wine tasting for Friday, June 7th at our home. We invited 4 friends over, all potential customers. We waited and waited and waited for the rep to arrive. No show, not even a phone call. We ended up drinking our own wine. Very disappointing. Five wine lovers who will not be buying from this group. No stars from us.
I did a survey for wines and was called soon after to make a time had a group of 5 friends around for a tasting had a great selection of wines and liqueurs to sample had a great night. Ordered and the wines arrived 1 week later and after sales service since has been fantastic. If after international wines from around the globe to try give these guys a try.
i did one of there tastings with my girlfriend we purchased a case of wine then due to unforeseen circumstances had to cancel the order but they still took the money from my girlfriend which she is still trying to get back after 4weeks of them promising that it will be put im my myself they took my money 4 weeks later then they where meant to , still waiting on refund also and we have neva received the wine we purchased as yet rather poor service would not recommend this company to anyone
They sell very poor wine at higher than what it is worth by mail order and home visits in my opinion. My poor wife got fooled, thinking she would get me a nice fathers day present. They visited and gave her some home tasting and sold her two dozen of the cheapest poorest quality wines one could imagine for $654.76. Barely drinkable non name brands - the kind of wines hey sell for $2.95 at the local liqour store. So do yourself a favour and never ever use them!!!!
Totally concur with the comments above. We recently purchased a mixed dozen of wines from Pieroths, after tasting them at a show. We love our wines, and we know what we like - the wine that was delivered from Pieroths was NOT what we tried at the show, Wines that arrived were of very poor quality, some with cork taint, others smelled "off". We have sent the remaining bottles back for a refund, which we are still waiting for.
Same here, I tasted a red wine my partner bought ( Ile de Beaute 2011) and I would say it tasted pretty poor, it supposedly had 11.5% alcohol but tasted very non alcoholic, bland and with a very short finish. She remembers the sample tasting better than what she received. I was shocked after hearing she paid $17 a bottle. Can buy a much better Aussie made wine for that price!
