Very good medical practice in great location. Thorough, competent drs and good follow up with professional nurses' area and great rooms. The various doctors are usually happy to take their time, listen to my concerns and explain in depth. Do not come here if you're looking for the cheapest option! Just keep in mind you get what you pay for. I, for one, have never felt ripped off.

I have been to Benchmark Medical twice, and only for emergencies. And for a good reason, they overcharge the bill. I always pay a double consultation even for a small thing. They start billing when the doctor picks-up you up in the waiting room, they have long corridors, doctors like to talk and explain a lot.

I've been a patient here for five years and have seen a few different doctors without one bad experience. I've seen four different doctors at this practice and although I clicked more with some than with others, they were all considerate, knowledgeable, professional and caring. Yes, it is more expensive than the bulk-billing place around the corner, but I've never walked out feeling like I had wasted my time or that the doctor wasn't interested in solving my problem. The reception staff are polite and the doctors are appointment only and in my experience run pretty much on time. In short, a highly professional and friendly medical practice which I recommend, especially if you work in the CBD.

a disappointment to say the least,. my experience ended with a huge bill $400 (for things i was not aware i was billed for ) and no result. The doctor simply said "i dont really know, why ur feeling like this, sorry". Waste of time, considering there is a bulk billing medical centre just around the corner.

I moved to Sydney a few years ago and had so much trouble finding a doctor, until someone recommended this place to me. If you want to see a good female doctor, like I did, this is the only place to go. Every time I go here, the doctors are really friendly and take the time to get to know you before they make assumptions about your health and send you on your way. The only downside is that good service like this comes at a price. They dont bulk bill, so you have to pay it all upfront and then claim it through Medicare, which can be pretty annoying when youre busy. It's also not cheap...but then, most decent places in Sydney worth visiting aren't. Still, for the convenience of an inner-city location and guaranteed good service, look no further than Benchmark Medical. Theyre consistently busy, but can generally fit you in on the day you call to make an appointment.
