Wood 'n Chimney

We came here for one of those incredibly rare work lunches that we seem to never have these days, and was what even better was that they paid for it. We chose this place because it wasn't tacky, and it was quite close as well. I'd seen the place a few times but never thought about coming in to check it out. Well, I don't have to anymore because I've now done so. It wasn't a bad place, and the food wasn't too expensive (I saw the prices beforehand). The steak sandwich was okay, but I do have to say that the menu is pretty stock standard. There could have been a few more chips though, but I can't complain because the chips themselves were pretty nice. The servings were decent sizes as well, which was pretty good. I would probably recommend checking this place out because it wasn't bad.

Deliciously food with amazing portion sizes. Having bought a tapas plate, which had delicious arancini balls, we decided to share 2 pizzas with 3 people. Bad idea. The portion sizes were so great that we ended up with basically a whole pizza to take home.

I definitely recommend coming here. It's got a great retro vibe and amazing milkshakes.

Went with work colleagues twice, and ordered gnocchi once and pasta the other time

- good value for money, reasonably priced for its location
- good service
- serving sizes are generous
- could do a bit by adding more variety to the menu
