Stay away from Woolleys Plumbing unless you want to be charged exorbitant prices.
In July 2011 my heater started to turn itself on and off. I found Woolleys in the Yellow Pages under heater repairs. They came out had a look and advised me that the fault was with remote control and that if they took it away I would have no heating until it was returned. They advised me to put up with the fault until the weather warmed up. They charged me $195.00 for this. I put up with a faulty heater for the whole winter on their advice. I called this company to ask about putting in a new return flow for my ducted heating. They said they would come out and have a look at what needs to be done. The plumber arrived at 7am in the morning and had a look at the job and said he could start the following day but he would go back and talk to "the boss" and they will call me up and give me a quote. I gave this guy a key as the house was empty. I waited all that day and the next day for a phone call that never came. I called Friday afternoon and was rudely told that the plumber was caught on some other job and they would call me next week. The following week came and no phone calls. By Wednesday I thought this is a joke. I am going to call them and get my key back and hire someone else to do the job. I called and I was again spoken to very rudely. I was very disappointed with the service I received from Woolleys the plumber was late. I had a gas leak and they didn't fix it. When I called I spoke with a very rude person who hung up on me. They came back the next day and had to disconnect my heater and after the plumber said they wouldn't charge me because it was a call back I got a bill in the mail a few weeks later. I'd never use them again. I had to get a local plumber back to replace my heater...I was very pleased with him.
Booked in for first visit of the day - unfortunately the plumber was a no show. When I called to check arrival time the plumber had gone to another urgent job - no one thought to call me and let me know. A morning taken off work for nothing. Poor service - I wont be using this company again.
