Woolpack Hotel

This pub is billed as being Parramatta's oldest pub (though I think it also tries to suggest that it is Sydney's oldest pub as well, though I am sure that there are a number of places in The Rocks that would object to that statement). This wasn't a bad pub, and the certainly attracts the crowds on a Friday night. Like many of these places it has a restaurant and a VIP Lounge, though there is also a beer garden down the side which is set aside for the smokers (no having any meals out here, though it is probably not one of those beer gardens were eating meals would be a great experience). They also have a couple of pool tables as well. As I said I liked this place, the staff were pretty decent, but it unfortunately doesn't make my 'great pub' list.
