Woolpack Hotel

This is one of those delightful inner-city Sydney pubs that makes the town just wonderful. I had discovered this place beforehand, but then again I do tend to do my research when I am visiting a place. Like many of the pubs in this part of the city, there is a great vibe about it, and a decent selection of beers on tap, which is always something that grabs my attention. Oh, and the art, if there is one thing that makes this place stand out, it is the artwork.

Since discovering this cool Redfern gastropub, I use it to fulfil my meat cravings with a grilled slab of what I'm convinced is Sydney's best pub steak. My date and I shared the delicious Chargrilled Scotch Fillet ($24) before spending the afternoon drinking Sangria ($12/jug) by the jug in the sun. Steak, sangria and sunshine: I'm sold.

This place is defs above average.

There's a dope little bistro thing for food which is pretty plus. ("plus" means "good". it's not really a thing, but i'm trying to make it happen... like "fetch".)
Food is also plus. (see? totally works.)

Nice bar to watch the world go by on a lazy Sunday afternoon. $5 pints on Sunday evening, bonus!

I'm enjoying go for a drink or a meal, to Woolpack for a few years now, very good environment, and friendly staff.Value for money delicious Pub food.
