Woolworths at Central Park is a fresh addition to the otherwise busy area without a single supermarket in sight. Although the area is predicted to be very densely populated, at the moment this supermarket is still very much quiet, even during the daytimes and the weekends, and out of all my visits to this supermarket, I have never came across the stock-fillers who usually block the aisles with boxes of products so you can really enjoy your shopping as it was intended.

I have seen other Woolworths that occupy larger places, but this one was very well laid out and feels spacious without sacrificing the extensive range of their product offerings.

In addition to the supermarket, it also has a small cafe on the side and a few chairs and tables so you can buy pies and coffees (and other like products) and consume them on the spot.

It also has a Hoyts Kiosk machine for your DVD and Blu-ray rental needs.

Call me cheesy but I truly love that this supermarket is brand spanking new. A fresh new layout, not too many frantic shoppers ready to bawl you over and surprisingly larger than I anticipated. The shelves are well stocked with all the familiar brands, including a great range of organic and gluten free, the staff are friendly and happy to help and the location is easy for locals. The Pizza Bar is an awesome concept with gourmet toppings at a fraction of the price and if you are time poor the Woolies staff will cook it on the spot for you. I particular like that although it is located within close proximity of the City, the prices do not reflect that of an express outlet and are generally in line with other suburban supermarkets. Looking forward to shopping here more regularly now that I know how convenient it is.
