Great location in the heart of Surfers Paradise for locals, workers and holidaymakrers but this can also be a downfall as no matter what time of the day you go in, it is generally busy particularly so during the schoolies festival. The specials items do tend to sell out quick so best to shop earlier in the morning if you can. There is plenty of underground parking but it is paid parking so beware of the time you spend out and about.

Staff were friendly, store was clean, and it was very busy. Surprised by the amount of tourists in there and how quickly the staff did their jobs. To correct one of the posts, the store closes at 10pm except on Sundays or public holidays, in which it closes at 8pm I think. Would definitely shop again.

Woolies, Centro is so busy, probably because it's located in the heart of Surfers Paradise. There's so many tourists that shop here wandering through with their suitcases, buying supplies for the start of their holidays. This is a decent size Woolworths, the fridge section traveling the whole way around the back & side wall. Out the front of the supermarket was quite dirty & grubby when I visited. Staff were nice & friendly at the checkouts tho.

Closes at 5:30pm on a Saturday, decides to have 2 registers open when its time to close and then won't let people waiting grab milk.
