World Of Tiles
Just finished a bathroom inluding removal of old tiles and wall sheeting. Then resheet walls, tiling and relplace cornice all completed as shedule supplied before starting ,on time and a good Job
I have used World of Tiles 3 times in the last 4 years. Last year on my sons kitchen /family room over 65 square meters of tiles were removed the whole floor releveled and tiles relaid , a messy and
dusty job as expected, over run shedule by 1 day but on watching it was easly justified and as always job well done
Do NOT use this business. They offer cheap, yet supposed quality tiles but their installers did an absolute mess. We hired them to redo two bathrooms and a toilet and what we incurred were additional costs, fraudulent additional charges (I have proof that they charged us for material removals that did not exist). I was hounded for payments, one of their tilers drove all the way to a party venue to retrieve payment at 11pm on a Saturday and in the end I was grouting, applying the silicon myself, as each of their tradies who would come in would explain to me that that was not their job. They finished their job in 2015 and now in 2017, we still can not use the shower in the bathroom because the plumbing/installation leaks into the guest bedroom, when it is turned on. We used World of Tiles to re-tile our downstairs living area. We had used them previously and they did an excellent job so we did not hesitate to use them again. We are very happy with the result, the place looks great and they were a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend them.
We have recently undergone a major house renovation & having purchased bathroom tiles and wooden flooring from World of Tiles in Castlehill, decided to use their installers. The installation of the wooden flooring required some minor floor levelling. The self-levelling concrete resulted in significant damage to our carpets, wood panelling and art work. The tiling was so bad, almost half was redone and the rest we have to live with (more below). Overall it has been a terrible experience and would recommend anyone to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other flooring companies that deserve your business. DO NOT use World of Tiles in Castlehill.
Their quote was very cheap and even our builder looked surprised at the amount. They arranged for the main tiling boss to come and look at the job and he brought his tiler best tiler with him. He said it was a bigger job than originally quoted and so we had to renegotiate the price (this included extra for doorways). ...read more
