World Square Pub is a busy pub especially on weekends. Popular for pub meals in the middle of the city, and is located in a very convenient location.
Spanning over four floors. The venue comprises of the Manhattan Bar, with an extensive array of boutique and international beers on tap. Other levels have The Goulburn Street Bar, The City View Function room, and The Lions Den Function Room.

This place seriously has no atmosphere.
No local barflys means, staff I feel deal with clients in a way they know they won't be seeing them tomorrow. Not a bad way, just not like the difference of a homely feel vs a touristy, one and done deal.
My mates who work nearby (hence why I am doing some day drinking here) tend to go elsewhere for a drink or workmans lunch.
But for me the place was rather empty at lunch time, pretty empty after work on a Thursday night and this all added to the lack of atmosphere. Mid-shelf spirit and coke was $11.50 which again is okay, just not great when its to an empty room as people have gone elsewhere.
I can only assume they pick it up on a Friday night and Saturday night, otherwise how can this place keep kicking? So my fellow reviewers are spot on, no long wait or difficult in finding a seat.
Went there for a night out with a bunch of friends. Got separated with my friend after dancing for a bit, so I was walking around to look for my friends. Suddenly out of no where, there was a security women came up to me and grabbed my arm instructing me that she got something to tell me and would like me to walk down the stairs to ground floor where is quieter. Have no idea what is she up for, although I did mention I am looking for my friends, she insist to talk to me right now. So I went down stairs with her.

For something that is called World Square PUB, it might need to go back to its roots. Went here for a Pub lunch and lo and behold, there is white linen, silver cutlery and table service with soft classical music playing in the background. This place was better a couple of years ago.
The food is not too bad although for the price you pay, you could get a little more. presentation is not too bad but the service is still a little slow.
