Visit eBay, Australia's online marketplace for fashion, electronics, digital cameras, sports, shoes, home decor, and cars. Great deals on brand new, fixed price items.eBay is the world's online marketplace; a place for buyers and sellers to come together and trade almost anything!
Here's how eBay works:
A seller lists an item on eBay, most anything from antiques to cars, books to sporting goods. The seller chooses to accept only bids for the item (an auction-type listing) or to offer the Buy It Now option, which allows buyers to purchase the item right away at a fixed price.
In an online auction, the bidding opens at a price the seller specifies and remains on eBay for a certain number of days. Buyers then place bids on the item. When the listing ends, the buyer with the highest bid wins.
In a Buy It Now listing, the first buyer willing to pay the seller's price gets the item.
Trading on eBay is easy and it's fun! Best of all, you'll never know what you can ...read more

On Tuesday 9th January 2024 I purchased a Vintage 2006 Temptation The New Sale Of The Century BOARD GAME used "Unsealed but as new, never played" for $95 from magicollector8 but when I received the game on Thursday 11th January 2024 it was used and had been played so it wasn't as new because when you buy a new board game it is either shrink wrapped or not shrink wrapped but everything inside is wrapped in plastic so the seller lied to me. I would definitely would think twice before buying anything from this seller because they obviously can't be trusted.
On Monday 11th December 2023 I purchased an Apple iPhone XS - 64 GB - Space Grey (Unlocked) A2097 (GSM) (AU Stock) opened never used for $380 plus $10.60 postage from noelene2512 but when I received the phone on Thursday 14th December 2023 it was used and activated because when you buy a brand new iPhone it comes up with Hello at the start and asks you to activate it but it never asks you for a passcode ever so the seller lied to me. I would definitely avoid buying anything from this seller because they obviously can't be trusted.
I was a member of ebay for 17 years, 100 percent satisfaction record both as a seller and buyer. Recently I sold 2 items, Ebay then then said AFTER the sales that they were witholding the money for over 1 month as they had changed their terms of service and no longer pay with paypal ( they still accept paypal) I told them I wanted to cancel the sale as I was counting on the money for christmas- they promptly banned me from selling! Also they were going to charge over 150 dollars for a 780 dollar sale- Ebay has become a terrible business. My advice, don't trust them, don't use them, go to a cheaper and fairer way of selling!
This Christmas I completed my shopping without crowds, and I saved hundreds of dollars. I did it on eBay - literally. Of all the items I bought I must admit there is one that hasn't turned up yet and one that wasn't as described *however* the one that wasn't as described was very easily refunded and I am confident if the other doesn't come they will also refund.
I love the search options - I mostly buy 'Buy It Now' rather than bidding as I've found I regularly get outbid at the last minute (a personal dislike) and I'll happily search for a certain item in Australia priced between $x and $y then sort by price including shipping. The feedback given by a gazillion other users helps me avoid dodgy sellers.
I'll certainly keep using it.
