Wynwood Estate

Wynwood Estate is a small wine lable but one of the most beautiful in the Hunter Valley region. Sat atop a hill, from the cellar door you get a sprawling view of the beautiful valley and vines below. It truly is gorgeous. The staff there are all really lovely too and passionate about their up and coming wine label. They took us into a large tasting room where we sampled a number of wines, many of which came from Verdelho vines which gives the wine a very unique and interesting flavour. My favourites were the 2014 Lime Blossom and the 2014 Plumeria Blossom sparkling verdelho. Their bottles are intricately designed and very pretty...great for gifts! I would re-visit Wynwood Estate for the wines and stay for the view.
