I have been going to this salon for years but the last two times have not been pleasant. The place feels unloved, rips and tears in the seats, the owner seems like he doesn't care and they have promoted a girl to Senior stylist when all she did, whenever I went there, was wash hair. Fairly expensive too. My regular stylist left and I will not be going back. Shame as it was so handy.
I have been going to Xquisit on and off for around 7 years whilst working in the area. I have always found the hairdressers there to be really friendly and helpful with products and hair condition.
I've had some great hair cuts each time I've gone there, and some new styles which I have been really happy with.
Today I'm going to get some foils and I'm really looking forward to a new look (and their prices are really reasonable too).
I'd recommend them to anyone.
My experience was very disappointing. I have curly/frizzy, short hair (SJP hair) which is difficult for me to blow dry straight. I have found many hair stylists who have the knack and know-how to straighten my hair without using a flat iron and I assumed all hair stylists knew the the do's and don'ts of blow drying curly/frizzy hair. The attendant at Xquisit yesterday clearly did not. Very quick, sloppy job, as if they couldn't be bothered with [what seemed to them] a simple blowdry. I walked out with a blow dry that I could have done at home and I paid $40 for it. Unacceptable.
