We were booked in to this hotel for the day before our wedding on the 28th and for our wedding night. I made the reservation months ago and received an email today to say that the reservation had to be cancelled because it is being renovated. This has ruined our wedding plans as we now have no where to stay during the most special time of our lives. We haven't been given a list of other places or offered any compensation. I recommend you choose somewhere different to stay.
We had a wonderful time at Yallingup lodge. We stayed in the Shiraz room for two nights. The staff were friendly, although the reception was not manned all of the time, when we left a message regarding wifi - we never got a response. The room was lovely and even though we didn't get a blacony the spa in the courtyard was lovely. The beds are very comfortable, the pool was lovely, and sitting out the front at night looking at the stars with Copper the dog sat clumsily on my lap was bliss. The breakfast each morning was perfection. It was very handy having the bush shack brewery a one minute walk away. It was a weekend of pure relaxation. If we come back again we will ask for one of the balcony rooms. Thanks Yallingup lodge.
