I visit Yamba every month or so. I have tried the Yamba Chinese Restauarnt on several occasions and have always had a mix of service and food that hasn't been terrible but would best be described as average or below. Tonight was the last straw.
Service on the phone when ordering takeaway was terrible. Made me feel like they just didn't want me to ring up. Meal was ready exactly on time (a bright spot !). Service at collection was laughable. Again made me feel like they just did not want me there. On returning home, found the scallops with vegetables was atrocious. The scallops had no taste at all while they had the consistency of tyre rubber.
Terrible... never again.
if you want Chinese that is a fair price and tastes absolutely terrific then dining here is a must, the service is very quick and everyone is so happy making you feel like you are family, do not go pass this restaurant up for a lovely Chinese meal that you and your family will enjoy
