This is a great place to enjoy some light snacks before watching a movie or simply just catching up with friends. The price of the tapas is quite expensive compared to what tapas should really be priced at. The potato bravas is nothing like the real potato bravas from spain, they didn’t have the right spices or sauce to come with it.
Very friendly, bubbly and welcoming service. The drinks were great, I really enjoyed my hot chocolate and my friend mentioned her chai tea was amazing. The menu consist on either tapas or pizza which I found very limiting, especially for lunch. The tapas were priced as lunch items while serving size remained tapas size. The food was good, wouldn't say great, but considering the pricing and serving size, I wasn't too satisfied. I had the chorizo which was heavy on the red wine, and could definitely do with more bread. I wouldn't go back, not saying that it was bad, just that there are better options nearby.
I went in for a drink on a Monday night at 8.30pm with 3 of my girlfriends. I had only ever been there one time previously 2 years ago but I was instantly reminded why I had never returned..... Although I enjoyed the food 2 years ago and they have a pretty decent size drinks list. I was again greeted by a staff with a foul look on their face.....It seemed they did not want our business and just wanted to shut the shop up early.
As someone that has worked in hospitality I did not appreciate the negative attitude that was directed at myself and 2 other girl friends. We left after only 1 drink and went somewhere else where they greeted us with a smile.
Fun and funky place with great tapas style food. The menu is varied and light but be careful of over-ordering as we have a couple of times! The ambience is relaxed and friendly, food is very reasonably priced but staff are on the ball, attentive and alert see it can be done!...(see my Trenta Cucina review). There is al-fresco dining on the footpath which is spoiled by all the smokers relegated out there. (Apparently al-fresco dining is no longer possible for non-smokers but thats a problem everywhere thanks to government regulation).
A well recommended place thats relaxed and good, and affordable. Well worth a try!
