well exceeded expectation. they have some dated cabinet display in their showroom and not so attractive website, but don't be put off by that. I almost went with Kitchen Shack, but found YVCM as I drove pass my wife's office. it was a couple k more expensive than quote we got from Kitchen Shack, but cabinets are all custom made byYVCM, whereas Kitchen Shack use certain fixed size cabinet and use infill to fill the gap.
deela's comment posted last year was a bit harsh, but i do agree it takes a while for quotation especially towards end of the year. in memory, it took around 2 weeks for intial quote, then quote required to be revised back and forth for another 2 weeks since there were changes as well as changing accessories in order ...read more

We thankyou for your feedback, and yes we know our quoting process can seem long, but with the custom nature of our builds, (as you mentioned not fixed size cabinets, so a better fit with no wasted space) attention to detail and the volume of quoting during the lead up to christmas is why it takes us a bit longer.. the personal touch.
we are looking forward to updating our showroom this year, with many new kitchen ideas.. stay tuned.
Our laundey cabinets were designed and instantly by YVCM, we had a laundry shoot above washing drawers installed, and plenty of bench space, and a big broom cupboard. They also fitted out a site built drying cupboard for me, the job was on time and I am happy with the finish. Thankyou YVCM.
We have had the pleaseure of dealing with Yarra Valley Cabinet Makers three times now. From their amazing designs concepts, to their meticulous detail to'finish' and 'accuracy', their assistance and opinions, were appreicated and loved. We couldn't been happier. From concept to the finished install, our kitchen and laundry look amazing and are superbly functional.
What is also important to note is that we were sadly victims to a house fire and our insurance company were able to easily work with them, YVCM had all are kitchen details, colour sellections all on file and could rebuild to how it was. Had contacted and visited showroom for about 1.1/2 hrs to organise a quote for 1 cupboard... 3 weeks later, after contacting them to follow up quote, was informed 1 week later via email that they are too busy to provide quote/fill order and wished me luck in finding another company!!... thats service for you....
