Recently moved here, so looked to establishing new medical arrangements. My two dealings have been VERY disappointing. Firstly, booked a general medical which was undertaken so lightly as to be bordering on incompetent, in stark contrast to my Melb. doctor. Second was completely let down when attending to have a basic proceedure related to my hearing, only to be informed at the appointment that they couldn't do it. No previous warning. No assistance with an alternative. Just bad luck, my problem. And a problem it was because the preparation for the procedure made me almost totally deaf. (Adding to the insult, they of course made me wait 10 mins+ after the appointment time to so fail in their service delivery). Be careul. Maybe like me you will investigate if the alternatives are any good.

People make mistakes and forget things, and its common practice these days for medical clinics to charge patients that don't turn up for appointments. But what happens when the medical clinic stuffs up and makes a simple mistake?
