We heard this was the best place in Canberra for dumplings and it seemed everyone else had heard the same thing. Even though it was a Sunday night it was very busy. The restaurant itself isn't anything special. The tables and chairs were pretty unique wooden numbers, low chairs and high tables. We got the 15 piece combo steamed dumplings, Chinese broccoli in garlic and the 4 piece pork and Chinese mushroom buns. The buns were really good, more mushroom than pork but that ended up being a positive as the mushrooms were cooked to perfection and tastes so good. The dumplings were good, the casings were a bit too thick and there wasn't much filling. It was actually hard to tell which was which too...except obviously the vegetable. I probably wouldn't rush back here and I've definitely had much better dumplings. However, the staff were nice (and very busy), the service was so fast and the meal was fulfilling. We spent $50 on all the above for two people.
