The Yering Station Winery, Restaurant Cafe is set in secluded manicured gardens in the Yarra Glen Valley. With fabulous country farm views from the restaurant. The menu entree average is $23.00 with the mains $40 and upward, desserts from $12 with a cheese board $28. If you wish for a degustation dining $95, there is a %15 surcharge dining on public holidays. We enjoyed a very nice lunch, while relaxing at the views. Even though the dining area is expansive there were not a lot of diners while we were seated. If you are looking for a Coffee and cake, ca&e style, this might be a little over priced.
Had one of the most amazing lunches here, it ended up being quite expensive but it was all worth it. From the service, to the lovely view, to the food, everything was perfect. And it’s only about 45 minutes from the CBD too! I had the truffle dish for entree and wished it was a main. I later came back at a later date and they had removed that dish from their menu which was really disappointing.
My partner and i enjoyed a romantic lunch. We shared the Tommahawk steak which was perfectly cooked with crunchy chips as a side. We then ventured to the store where we purchased homemade fudge to take home, which was soon demolished before we left the Yering as it was that delicious. Looking forward to going back.
Situated just 40mins drive from Melbourne, this restaurant forms part if the Yering Station Winery estate and is located in the heart of the Yarra Valley. It is a modern restaurant with even a beautiful al fresco area overlooking the vineyards. I had the beef cheeks with potatoe tart tartin and it was delicious. This went perfect with the estate's home grown Pinot noir. My partner opted for the baby crusted snapper, confit potatoes and Dutch carrots and smoked mussels sauce and the reisling. Both were beautifully done. Definitely recommend this place for a special lunch or pre-book if you are out in the region.
