Ying Wah Chinese Restaurant

Been ordering from them since 2006 and they never disappointed me. Family style so big serving so beautiful taste and good value but expecting delay on weekends if delivery. A busy restaurant so I trust them with the foods freshness too!

Dreadful delivery service, 40 minutes late and tried to blame me for the problem! Also called me to say there was a delivery charge when the website said there wasn't.

Whilst the restaurant itself isn't much, the food is quite tasty! the beef in black bean sauce and spring rolls will warm any winters night!
I'd always suggest picking up your food as delivery can take a long time.

Unfortunately after 1-2 years of having this restaurant as our preferred weekly local Chinese for home delivery, I am today writing that we will no longer be doing this and we will never be ordering from Ying Wah restaurant at Balgowlah ever again.
The service level dropped dramatically to the point where we would be waiting up to 1.5hrs for delivery of cold food. The next time I would order I would call and note this though it seems it fell on deaf ears. We also experienced the joys of receiving incorrect orders as well. Tonight, like in the past, I rang them directly to inform them that I would like to have my order delivered within the given time frame. 45 mins was noted and again after waiting over an hour, I rang to inform them that I will not be ordering from them again.... Best Chinese heading towards Mosman. Try the honey prawns and chicken satay. Great to take away (the restaurant itself isn't very inviting). Service is terrific.
