I have been very impressed with the fittness classes and thier instructors.
I have been swimming at the pool for over 6 years, and also find the pool facilities to be really well kept. The refurbisment during Covid really helped.
The staff are also really friendly and the ladies to who look after my son at the crech are wonderful
I am currently using the generous 7 day free trial offer. I will not be returning or joining due to the extremly bad conditions in the gents shower cubicles. Black mould is present in the tile grout areas and also on the shower walls themselves !!! As an older person with less than perfect health I have no desire to expose myself to this mould and associated health threats. A cleaner and a bottle of bleach is badly needed.
Poor or run down facilities one can forgive, but terrible service is unforgivable! I went to Aquajetty and asked to use the swimming facilities and paid my money at the front. Went for a swim and had a sauna afterwards. I didn't realise that what I paid didn't allow me to use the sauna, and a staff member with a beard working the pool area at around 1230pm on 14th June, opened the sauna and told me that as I didn't have a yellow band I need to get out. I apologised and said can I please finish my sauna session, have a shower and get changed and I will pay the balance at the front desk. This staff member told me to get out and go and pay right away......absolutely awful customer service! I would suggest that particular guy finds a job where he doesn't need to deal with customers.....when I was walking out the front, I saw a sign saying the sauna and spa were closed, so I couldn't have paid for the sauna in advance anyway!!!!!! I won't ever be going back!
Not a bad facility but not great, the swiming classes are far too big. You can't swim in the pool without goggles the amount of chlorine is ridiculous. Front desk staffs are lovely, pool staff are disinterested and lacking in common courtesy. It's all about the atmosphere, people will come back if they feel welcome! The hydrotherapy pool should be more accessible to people with disabilities a new hoist would be great.They do get points for trying to fix the ventilation.
Facilities are run down since new management took over. Swimming classes are overcrowded in a tiny pool. Number of lifeguards seem to have been reduced with new management too. Public trying to go swimming usually have to compete with a huge number of swimming lessons going on for most of the day. Lack of change facilities for people with babies and small children. Management do not consider any feedback or suggestions provided and usually met with a non response, or a dismissive response. The only reason the facility gets 1 star is being we've had two lovely swimming teachers.
