Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt
Yogur Spoon
With the fro-yo craze sweeping across Sydney, it is timely that this independent Frozen Yoghurt parlour has opened. With no seats, it really is a grab and go kind of treat, but the quality of the yoghurt is good and the service is quick. The toppings however were pretty basic. No popping juicy pearls of fruity syrup, no mochi, only random chocolate bits and pieces and fruit... I am keen to find out if they get the good stuff in but really, this is the only place you can get fro-yo in the North sydney Business area.
After a year being in North Sydney business district looking for a self-serve frozen yogurt shop, my quest has finally been answered late this year with the arrival of Yogurspoon at Greenwood Plaza.
Yogurspoon might not be as full-blown or as spacious as other frozen yogurt shops throughout Sydney, with it only being more of a takeaway shop and only has four flavours to choose from (which were original, strawberry, taro, and mango flavours the last time I visited), but they tasted quite good: very chilled but not running, and the flavours were not too overpowering but also not too creamy either. It is basically a great solution for a hot summer days.
With the price of 25c/10g as per the standard frozen yogurt price, this place is certainly a great addition to the area. The staffs were also quite friendly.
If you happen to be of a dessert person, dont forget to get yourself a loyalty card from the staff.
