You Japanese Restaurant

We were recommended this izakaya style Japanese restaurant by some local Japanese and glad we sought it out for the fabulously fresh sashimi. Although located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, it's not on the main road so could be easy to miss. The family run business was heaving with hungry diners and when we arrived, there were no tables available so they took our mobile number to call us when a table was ready.

Not long after, we received the call, were seated, received menus and ordered. Our main of sashimi (20 pieces $30) and katsu don (crumbed pork and egg on rice $12.80) were yum, and service was so friendly.

When I want a good fix of japanese food I head to "You", introduced to me by a friend 5 odd years ago, this place contiues to amaze me with the quality of food it presents, recently they had a special discount for the month of their birthday, I think it almost became like a second home for me during that time... I wish I had more than two thumbs to put up regarding how much I like this restaurant!!

Best Sashimi on the Gold Coast. Love to sit at the window and watch Satoshi at work. Great service & fabulous food!

I love You! I have been there a few times now and the food has been consistently great. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. The staff are just gorgeous and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.
