Building a Fitter, Healthier GenerationChildren in todays society are devoting less time in physical activity by engaging in technology (texting, emailing, internet browsing / computer games etc.), choosing not to play organised sport and eating highly processed foods. Physical inactivating is one of the leading causes of childhood obesity in Australia.
These fitness classes will assist your child/ren;
Build confidence & power
Develop skills & strength
Improved coordination
Better posture & balance
Agility, endurance & speed
Develop social skills / good sportsmanship
Setting short and long term fitness goals
What can you expect?
Each session will run between 45-60 minutes and will include:
Stretch & Warm-ups
Workout
Variety of games
Stretch & cool-down
**light weights may be utilised in classes for older children**
