If you're looking for a fish and chips place that hasn't strayed too far from the water, 'Zac's Place' in Currarong is the perfect place for you. Minutes from the water let Zac and his exceptionally friendly team of staff cook up dinner or lunch for you and the family tonight. All your favourites (beer battered fish, chicken and beef burgers, calamari rings) as well as grilled fish options (for the more health conscious) you'll be spoilt for choice.
As a testament to it's popularity, the restaurant becomes extremely busy on the weekends, so it is advisable to phone ahead a book a table for dinner. Even phoning is pleasant, as a reviewer who's dealt with hundreds of snappy staff over the phone I've never had a friendlier booking experience.

I went away on a girls trip for my 40th and had dinner at Zac's place. The staff was so friendly, Zac was such an amazing host and he had such a great sense of humour. We ordered the seafood platter and it was excellent, very well presented fresh and varied. Will definately return, thanks Zac.
The best seafood basket! Incredibly fresh oysters, prawns, perfectly cooked calamari and BBQ fish with a really nice fresh salad and chips that were nice and dry and not at all oily. We deliberately ordered takeaway so that we could walk the 30 seconds to a table just above the waves and enjoy the view along the beach. The staff were understandably busy but very friendly. Went there in December 2012. Can't wait to go back.
