I have used Zaija's as my go to beauty salon for two years now. I have always been welcomed into the salon by friendly, respectable staff, and have loved every service I have received. I have taken advantage of one of their great membership packages, and recommend them to anyone. From personal experience, I can recommend the Beverly May hair extensions, their cut and colour services, eyelash extensions, massages and their delicious hot chocolates! I have no hesitation in recommending Zaija's to anyone.
The first time I went to Zaija was in April 2014. I had a shellac manicure and an eyebrow wax and loved my experience- the salon was clean, friendly staff, my shellac nails were perfect as was my wax. My second visit was November 2014 and my opinions has COMPLETELY changed. The salon was disorganised and untidy when I came in. I waited for over half an hour after my appointment time in which time I was offered a drink and then wasn't given it. I found out once I was seated that they no longer use 'shellac' and instead use a brand of gel which I hadn't been told prior to my visit. I was however happy with my eyebrow wax. My gel nails peeled and chipped only the day after I got them done with no heavy use of my hands or anything. I told them this and they were quick to reschedule an appointment to get them redone. But once again I sat around for 30 minutes and my gel nails only lasted 4 days in a neat condition. I will not be going back.
