Zap Hair Design

So I had been sick for a fair few months now. (In and out of hospital) I had damaged hair, loss of hair, you name it.
I was quite hesitant on getting my hair done, and embarrassed really. However as I had been feeling dull, I knew I needed a lift!

I travelled from Brisbane down to Gold Coast just to see Jay as I had heard some amazing reviews. Yes, a very far travel! However it was well worth it! He had asked what I wished for (I had no idea!) showed me photos and took note that my hair was very damaged and didn't wish to damage further... Needless to say, I walked out very impressed! It was the colour I had wished for, for months but too scared to get done!
Would definitely recommend anyone needing a lift to see him! When it comes to beauty, the travel is well worth it! He works around what you need (even if it's needing to be professional)

Seriously not good at all Jay! Destroyed my hair and made it too short and thin! Fake Facebook reviews, whats with the good reviews? Try it and you'll regret, it will take me months to grow back my hair! Very very unskilled hair dresser. Not worth the money- accept cash only. Waste of time

Well I went today for the third time, not happy Jay. First time I had my hair cut and coloured, it was good, one side of my hair was thicker than I liked, but it was how it was prior, I walked out happy. The second time I went for a blow-dry for my cousins party, explained how I wanted it, I asked for height on the top part of my head, not flat. Well it was flat, he was busy and I could tell he just wanted me out of there, I expressed my upset, not rudely, but showed my upset needless to say, but it just wasn't how I explained before hand. Anyway I never spoke badly but aired my dislike by saying so, whilst I also apologised. So then last Friday I called and explained who I was reminding him of the last visit, and said to him if he didn't want to cut my hair I would understand but as I thought he was a good cutter wanted to return. Wonderful salon that fixed my hair after another salon destroyed it 30mins beforehand, Thanks Mimi your an amazing hairdresser, i would recommend and do recommend her to all my aussie girlfriends, Great service and prices pretty good, will be visiting again for sure when back up on holidays again. if you're into the latest japanese style, this is the place for you... japanese lady who married an aussie and set up this very pro salon in the heart of surfers.... good conversation and a cool local feel in the middle of all the tourism :)
