Zarraffa's Coffee

We won't be back. Coffee not much better than dish water.
No toasted sandwiches.
Serving looked like thick toasted sour dough.

My partner and I came in for a quick breakfast. After seeing the prices of items in the cabinet, we ordered drinks only. It was very busy and there were only two staff. However, they seemed to be in no huge rush. Service was quite slow. So slow that we ordered, went next door and bought pies, ate the pies and still waited for our drinks. It was quite pricey and drinks weren't that great. I've normally had good experiences at Zarraffas. Won't be back to this one though.

I really enjoyed the two times that I had brought my family in to sit at the Carrara Zarraffas. I love their avocado and chicken sandwich and their cafe breve! Whenever I am in the area, I will make it a point to stop there. The food is fresh and great quality and I love my coffee. The staff are helful and friendly!

I Just had a really unpleasant experience at this place. Being a lover of fine coffee, I have always enjoyed a brew at any of the Zarraffa,s, So I took my hubby to our local one which happens to be Carrara, ( (I had not been to this one before myself), thinking the coffee would be as good as all the others. Not so... I informed the owner ( Who was making the coffees) I could not really taste the coffee.(It also had a bitter after taste which I did not mention to him) His reply was " Yes You Can " and ignored my request for another shot. When I asked him politely again, he said quite abruptly... That will be an extra 60 Cents... after paying over $12.50 for 2 coffees? Okay I will go and get 60 Cents. I gave him the 60 cents, and he glared at me whilst adding the extra shot, to which he then declared he could "Stare me out anytime" Feeling confused over this strange behaviour, I waited for the ordeal to be over and get my coffee back.As a business owner myself, I go above ...read more

Great coffee. Served with a smile. And the butterscotch and white chocolate muffin is to die for. Never had an issue and never had poor service. A Monday morning routine for now.
