Zimt Patisserie Bakery Cafe

A true local star. Everything is delightful. Now I know that's a very profound statement, but quite frankly true. I often drop in to purchase items for a lite dinner or Saturday brunch. I have tried most items on the menu and they are all delicious. My only disappointment - I have gone a few times with my mouth salivating in anticipation of a particular treat and it is sold out. Lovey staff - my compliments to a wonderful establishment.

Mmmm yummy yummy yummy! Well, it's plain and simple. Zimt is my local indulgence! Lovely pastries, my favourites are the spinach and ricotta roll (not your average slab of tasteless pastry like most.) which is sublime and the spinach, feta and tomato quiche boat. You can eat in or take away, but you have to get in quick for those as they disappear like hotcakes! They also have great coffee and hot chocolates and I haven't even mentioned the cakes. I love the chocolate brownies, macaroons and the baked lemon cheesecakes. You can also order family size quiches if you phone in and give notice. I'm forever disappointed if I go to any other bakery. There is limited seating too, not really suitable for small children ie. prams. But I usually get everything to take away due to this.
