Zubi Bar

Zubi is always busting at the seams with people at all hours. The coffee is decent and the cute little garden out the back makes it a winner in Summer.

We're going back to Zubi Bar again. This must be Newport's favourite cafe, a bit beachy-surfy, just a bit quirky intercity. Always relaxed and cheerful. The coffee is mostly good, except when there's been a barista shake up, not sure why it went off the last few months...Its big draw card is the leafy garden out back, a shady glade, not quite enough winter sun, but especially lovely in summer. We prefer the morning hubbub of the tiny sidewalk tables, always a happy throng out front, dogs, surf bods, tradies,push bikes and drive by coffee grabbers. Its not Newton, but its ours.
