I walked into this salon for the first time having chatted about the colour change I wanted. My appointment was booked for a weekday afternoon. Upon sitting in the chair, I was informed that there was not enough time to complete the service I had booked in for, so I only received a cut and treatment. The cut was lovely, but I was displeased that I had not received the service I'd asked for considering we had discussed what i wanted to do with my hair previously.
Around a week or two later, I walked in for my colour change appointment (I was lightening from a dark red to my natural auburn colour), and the lady doing my hair made a big deal about preserving the quality of my hair. Your experience begins from the moment you sit down in the salon chair. A member of staff will bring over some herbal tea and a glass of water for you to sip on during your time there. You'll get a brief neck and shoulder massage before your hair stylist comes over to talk to you. I've been getting my hair cut and coloured here for the last 2 years or so. Even though there seems to be a high staff turnover rate, I've never had a bad cut or colour from any of the staff here. The service is excellent.
Cynthia blowaves my hair and it's always absolutely gorgeous! She takes the time to listen to my hair concerns and recommends the perfect products. Always smiling, friendly and efficient - I love it when she does my hair. I usually wear my hair long and bouncy; when I leave the salon I feel like a Victoria's Secret model. Highly recommended.
I used to love this place, it is still the best haircut and customer service I have ever received and I love love love the staff!
However, as someone who works strange hours, the fact that the online booking service is no longer working (and hasn't been for months), I have found myself getting my haircuts elsewhere as it is more convenient for me to get an appointment there.
