The Canberra Acupuncture Clinic is run by Matt Dippl CMD, B.H.SC.TCM, AACMA, AIMA.
Matt is one of a few leading Integrative Modern Chinese Medicine Specialists, Acupuncturists and Chinese Herbalists currently operating in the ACT.
Matt's approach is on complementary & alternative medicine (CAM). He mainly focuses on fatigue, digestive & liver health, sports injury treatment, stress management and hormone health with his clients. A lot of leading local cross fit athletes are currently under his care.
Matt has a passion for helping people to live a physically thriving, spiritually connected and emotionally balanced life. Since 2007, Matt has helped hundreds of patients with a variety of chronic health issues, ranging from chronic low back, adrenal fatigue and anxiety to digestive disorders to PMS to neck and shoulder pain.
He received a bachelors degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007 from the University of Technology in Sydney (UTS). Matt is a member of AACMA (The Australian Association of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine) and AIMA (The Austral Asian Integrative Medicine Association) and has a state license to practice acupuncture, mobile acupuncture and herbal medicine in the ACT.
Alongside his classical traditional approach Matt uses nutritional medicine that is based on a evidence based natural medicine approach (EBNM). As well he uses cutting edge lab tests where necessary and enjoys working alongside traditional GP's to further people's health and wellbeing in the long term.
Since a young age, Matt has always had a fascination with medicine, healing, and Eastern cultures. He has been an avid student of martial arts, nutrition and functional fitness since 1995. After creating a radically new lifestyle based on wellness in his early 20's and seeing amazing changes, Matt became inspired to base his career path on helping others to reclaim their health.
