The Principal of Balanced Life Therapies is Barbara Liebert. With clinical experience in a broad range of health conditions, Barbara has a particular interest in the following areas: * Natural health solutions for acute and chronic conditions * Lifestyle coaching and counselling * Stress, anxiety, depression and bereavement counselling * Meditation, relaxation and energizing techniques Barbara received her German "Certificate of Psychotherapy" from the Hoeferlin Institute for Advanced Studies in 1988 and her "Licence as Heilpraktikerin" (Government Certified Healer/Counsellor) in 1989. She was employed at a German specialist holistic clinic, assisting patients with cancer, multiple sclerosis and mental health issues in consultation with medical practitioners. Barbara provided natural remedies and worked as counsellor with patients referred by Doctors of mental health unit. She coordinated patient activities, such as guided meditation, music therapy and physical therapies. By request she was also a companion in the process of dying. After moving to Australia,Barbara designed and delivered Yoga and Meditation courses from 1992 -2004 at Manly Warringah College and was volunteering as a Lifeline trained Telephone Counsellor. She is a certified member of the Intern. Institute for Complementary Therapies. Barbara is practising at a number of locations around Sydney including the Northern beaches.
