I've always loved artsy and crafty type things and always like trying new crafts. However, I remember I first gave jewellery making a shot because I was broke!
I couldn't afford new clothes, and jewellery is a great way of jazzing up an outfit and making the same outfit look completely different! Problem was, I couldn't afford jewellery either. I could, however, afford a few bucks worth of beads every now and then!
So I started beading, and never looked back. Beading can be as quick and simple or as challenging and complex as you want to make it. Whenever you need a piece of jewellery in a specific colour to match your top you can just whip one up! And you never have to worry about not being able to find the style you like in the shops, because you can make whatever style you love, every time!
I started looking further and further afield in my hunt for new and unusual beads, and as bead shops are a little sparse in this part of the world, I started supplying my bead-loving friends with beautiful beads and charms too. We're now the only dedicated (theat we've been able to find, anyway!) beading supplier in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia.
