Club meets monthly at 2.00 pm on the second Sunday afternoon of each month. Informative discussion along with hands on demonstrations, on every thing from incubation, poultry husbandry to washing, preparing and showing. Our club leads the way in Victoria with country hospitality in a city atmosphere.
Great family pastime, encouraging children to be outdoors and active whilst learning to be responsible and focused.
We hold two shows a year at our club rooms in our new Poultry Pavilion, Racecourse and Recreation Reserve, [Harness Track] Bacchus Marsh. Melways Map 333 A 12
Footscray Poultry Club has made Bacchus Marsh their home. Over the last five years we have been renovating the old Produce Hall at the old Bacchus Marsh Show grounds, transforming it into the largest most advanced Poultry Pavilion in Australia.
We are currently looked on as one of the most progressive poultry clubs.
Annual Membership is only $15.00 for family, $10.00 single, or $5.00 junior [under 16 years]
