Pet friendly Blueberry Bed and Breakfast is located just east of Burnie on Tasmania’s northwest coast. The hosted country home at Heybridge rests in a quiet rural setting surrounded by mature gardens and ocean views. It provides level access with some facilities for guests of limited mobility. There are three bedrooms, the main with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom. The second bedroom is appointed with a double bed and the third a single bed with shared bathroom. Enjoy use of the communal kitchen and living room with television, CD and DVD players. There is also a dining area, laundry, barbecue facilities and table tennis. The nine acre property is planned for permaculture farming with blueberry production its main focus. The back boundary meets a government reserve leading down to the Blythe River. While you are there, you can visit nearby attractions including the Leven Valley Winery, Gunns Plains Caves, Lactos Cheese tasting, Upper Natone trout Fishery and Wings Wildlife Park. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Choose from a weekly ‘whole of house’ accommodation rate or stay three nights for the price of two. The accommodation is 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) from Burnie and 43 kilometres (26.8 miles) west of the Devonport ferry terminal.
