The "Anchorage" main house is over 115 years old and has been fully renovated to compliment the original features. With magnificent pressed tin ceilings, lovely timber paneling and fireplaces it has 4 individual rooms with private bathrooms, as well as a full kitchen and lounge/dining room with a cosy wood fire to relax and mingle with other guests. New plush carpet, paint and plantation shutters throughout in August 2014 has given the house a lovely warm, homely feel. Sleeps up to 10. NO CHILDREN UNDER 14 years
We also cater for those who prefer self-contained accommodation. Built in the early 1960's to house mine workers these 3 cottages are perfect for small families or groups. All are very well equipped, comfortable and have 2 bedrooms, bathroom and cooking facilities.
