The gardens around Abbey Lake are impressive, boasting a 60 year-old oak, Japanese maple and a stunning tulip tree. Guests at Abbey Lake will never run out of things to do. The famous vineyards of the Yarra Valley are only 30 minutes drive away. If you're feeling active you may want to take a bush walk through the magnificent tree fern gully. This four-kilometre walk winds its way up to the Steavensons Falls, one of the highest in Victoria. During winter there's cross-country skiing at nearby Lake Mountain.
