Black George House is a rural property located in the beautiful Karri forests region in the SW of West Australia. Set on 7 acres the property is only 10 minutes from Manjimup and near the Pemberton wine region (15km), the Walpole tree Top Walk (1.5 hr), Margaret River (1.5 hrs), Perth (3 hrs), Albany (2 hrs).
In the guest wing of the house there are 3 double ensuite bedrooms, a lounge, dining area and kitchen; compete with TV, pool table and sound system. Outside, on the 4m wide verandahs that surround the house, is a 6 person spa, BBQ and beautiful views over the forest.
The property is home to Andrea and Gordon Roper and a small menagerie of family pets ( dog, cat, and two horses). All our animals are friendly and guests are welcome to bring their own dogs provided that they are also friendly.
There are many restaurants and attractions within easy reach of our property and we are more than happy to provide advice and directions on where to go.
Both Andrea and myself are keen bikers and we welcome other motorbike riders. We can provide undercover parking for your bikes and can direct you to some of the best motorbike rides in WA; the Manjimup - Nannup - Balingup - Bridgetown - Manjimup loop has some of the best bends around !
