Captain Bligh Early Learning Centre (used to be called "Captain Bligh Preschool") was established in 1991. We have long-standing history of providing excellent education and care programs to the local community of Bligh Park and South Windsor. Most of our staff have been working here for years, some had their own children grown up at the centre twenty years ago. The new owner has massive experience with some of the best names in this industry - e.g. KU, Macquarie University Children Services. Our target is to provide the opportunity for the local children to enjoy the highest standard of early year education and care.
We currently offer education and care services to 39 children per day. Our specialist team provides a happy and stimulating learning environment for children from 2 to 6 year old. Our programs are based on National Quality Standard (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). We are open from 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, 50 weeks a year, closed on public holidays. We provide freshly cooked food onsite - from breakfast to light supper.
We are committed to provoking the rights of children and engaging children in experiences that promote their desire for learning and spark their curiosity. Children use these skills to develop positive relationships with the world around them and nurture each individual's sense of belonging, being and becoming.
