Our School
The school is co-educational and caters for students from Prep to Year 7. Our school is set on a large acreage in central Albany Creek. This gives a very peaceful and serene atmosphere for our students, a perfect environment for those formative years of schooling. While the school seeks to provide a nurturing environment it also seeks to provide an excellence in academics which prepares the students for a seamless transition form Primary to Secondary School.
Our Purpose
At Good Shepherd Christian School we endeavour to provide Christ-centred schooling in an atmosphere of love, respect, peace and discipline which will encourage students to achieve their full potential for God. We believe it is our calling to help students achieve academic excellence, receive sound spiritual teaching based on Biblical principles, and to help students develop and use their God-given talents in the service of God.
Our Aim
Our aim is to:
- prepare educational programs which are in harmony with revealed truth of the Bible and fulfil Government educational requirements consistent with the truth.
- support families in the role of raising their children in a Christian environment.
- encourage the School community to be active participants in their Local Churches.
- resource the School with dedicated Christian staff, committed to the Mission of the School who, through professional skills and spiritual gifts, influence and encourage students and the wider school community in the ways of God and recognise the role of faith in their ministry.
- encourage the development of the whole child.
