Dr Bobby Chan is an Endocrinologist with a particular interest in Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational Diabetes. He also enjoys all things in general endocrinology (Osteoporosis, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Thyroid diseases, pituitary and adrenal diseases).
Dr Bobby Chan graduated from University of New South Wales in 2007 with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB.BS), BSc (Med). He completed his physician training in St. George and Sutherland Hospital and was accepted into their Endocrine Advanced Training in 2013. He further underwent his advanced endocrine training at Prince of Wales Hospital, Nepean Hospital, Blue Mountain Hospital and Lithgow Hospital. He has also worked in areas of need for Endocrinology services such as Orange. He has been admitted to the Royal Australian College of Physician as an Endocrinologist in 2015. He worked in St. George Public Hospital and Campbelltown Public Hospital as a part-time staff specialist in 2016. He also works in multiple private hospitals including Kareena Private Hospital.
He regularly attends and presents at meetings locally and also participates in meetings internationally such as the Endocrine Society Meeting in USA. He is also interested in teaching and has been appointed as clinical tutor in all the different hospitals he worked at.
Bobby is compassionate, understanding and is dedicated to providing the best possible care for his patients.
