Hi, my name is Julia. I set up Paws Pet Care in 2014 to meet the growing demand for dog walkers that is a reflection of our busy lifestyles and people struggling to find the time to walk their dogs. I have since qualified as a dog trainer.
Dogs are social animals that ideally need to get out at least once a day for mental stimulation and physical exercise.
Dogs who do not receive enough exercise often resort to unwanted behaviours at home like chewing, digging and barking to relieve their boredom and vent their frustration. .
Giving your dog the opportunity to get out to the park and play with other dogs while you're away from the house all day will make him/her, and you, feel much better!
I offer off-lead social walks (for sociable, vaccinated, desexed dogs with good recall).
I also offer special needs walks for dogs that do not fit the above category.
Social walks are $32.75 plus GST per hour including pick up in van, transport to local off-lead park, walk of at least 45 mins, and drop home, as well as texts with photos/vids of your dogs activities.

I have a BSc honours degree in psychology, 20+ years experience working/volunteering at an animal shelter, kennels, as a vet nurse etc. I receive referrals from vets and professional dog trainers who know how important walks are for dogs to be healthy and happy.
I offer Home visits while you're away to feed/water your cats/dogs, give medicine, water plants, put bins in/out, collect post, scoop poop, clean litter tray, open/close curtains, lights on/off etc.
