Office Manager Job Duties:
This role mainly includes bookkeeping, administration and reception duties.
Bookkeeping:
Responsible for the billing of customers and processing of customer receipts
Account management and debt collection
Payment of supplier bills,
Processing of employee pays
Bank reconciliations and generation of monthly reports
Administration:
Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing filing systems
Assist in project management, including the records management system and constantly keep director informed of the status of projects
Request information required from different agencies and follow up; Liaise with agencies like, but not limited to, Councils, water authorities and geotechnical companies
Responsible for recruiting, training and supervising office staff
Maintain a neat and organized office environment
Organize meetings, appointments and travels
Reception:
Answering telephone and handling emails
Welcoming clients
Copy, scan, print etc.
Skills/Qualifications:
Experienced in MYOB accounting software
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and internet research
Ability to accurately maintain computerized and manual filing/documentation systems
Ability to prioritize, multitask, work autonomously and to deadlines
Good communication, organizational and management skills
Innovative and resourceful with a â??can doâ?? attitude
Trustworthy and ethical, able to work in highly confidential environments
Fluent English and Mandarin (preferred) or Cantonese
