McHugh Hire is a 100% Canberra owned equipment hire business born as Canberra Spit Hire in January 2007.
In January 2013, Canberra Spit Hire was expanded to be called Canberra Spits and Party Hire to accommodate a diverse array of event-based equipment we became known for hiring.
CSPH rapidly became Canberra and Queanbeyan's first call for hire providing equipment and services for events with thousands of people.
fast forward to 2018 and we had again expanded our inventory, this time to include more electrical, tools, machinery, trailers and services. So a more broad business name was required to reflect the vast range of equipment and family nature of our business, so McHugh Hire was chosen.
McHugh is more than just an equipment company. We strive to make sure every customer is confident they have everything they need, and we work hard to guarantee every McHugh Hire customer is raving about our service afterward.
