The idea for Missys Thongs came straight from coastal Europe. Owner and founder of Niche Brands Australia, David Barton, was vacationing with his wife off the coast of Europe when they noticed all the women wearing these trendy beach sandals.
His wife decided that she needed to bring these classy sandals back with her so all her friends in Australia could have them too, and so now she is sharing them with you as well.
They decided to name the thongs after their daughter Melissa, and thus Missys came into existence. The Pearl Cove sandal was designed by David Bartonâ??s niece who is an aspiring clothing designer. Every step of the Missys journey has been a team effort and you can see in the product the creativity and care that has gone into it.
