Harney Stone Racing thoroughbreds are 100% sourced from New Zealand with a minimum of 1-2 starts or successful trial. So before they even arrive down under the horses have proven they can run which eliminates any uncertainty in their ability.
Additionally Harney Stone Racing brings together a team of highly experienced experts of Melbourne racing�s scene. Trainer Ciaron Maher has established himself as a highly successful trainer with several Group 1 wins under his belt, including Jameka, winner of the 2015 Oaks and 2016 Caulfield Cup. Owner Stephen Harney is an experience thoroughbred owner with a dual Group 3 Winner and Group 1 Performer.

Harney Stone Racing thoroughbreds can be racing in as little as 5 weeks from arrival. There is no waiting 12 months to see if they can perform. The horses arrive broken in and ready to run.
